Established the visual branding/identity for &KILNa fictional gallery space where art, craft, and community converge in the heart of NYC. As a gallery-café hybrid concept space, &KILN celebrates the rich tradition of ceramics and sculpture while providing a cozy haven for art enthusiasts and coffee aficionados alike.

Its inaugural exhibition series, Hued Dialogue, explores an artist’s rich use of color as a central theme. For the first edition, Hued Dialogue (Eternal Blue), the gallery highlights the work of Tamara “Solem” Al-Issa, a Syrian/Filipina sculptural artist focused on conveying preservation of time and known for her custom cobalt blue.

To further push this into real-world application, I designed a set of promotional materials, including a bilingual catalog, postcards, and merchandise (shirts, totes, coffee cups). As a playful nod to Al-Issa’s signature palette and a way to seamlessly tie the café into the gallery’s curatorial vision, the menu could feature a blue spirulina latte—offering visitors a small but immersive way to engage with the exhibition beyond the artwork itself.
